Is there a patch available to go beyond 256 colums. I need 365 days across a
sheet but the system will only allow 256

No, that would be a design change, not a patch. To the best of my
knowledge, there is no announced intention to change that.

When/if the design change happens, we would need 366 columns. One extra for
Leap Year.

Should be at least 368 columns, 1 column (col A) for names, etc. and the
last column for a "Total" perhaps.
