When I add a DataValidation to my sheet, the elements in the dropdown are
small (I guess size 8). I would like to change this to something else like 10
however I can't seem to find the property. It seems that this control is
different to the control toolbox dropdoen.

Any ideas how to adjust the font properties of this control? How to I
reference it?

n.b. Am using Excel 2000 SP3.

however, Debra does give instructions on this page, on how to use a combo
box over the data / validation drop down to provide a "workaround" to this
problem ...

Then a more appropriate initial answer might have been

It can't be changed, but if you are not familiar with other controls (but
you appear to be), then Debra Dalgleish has a work around at
http://www.contextures.com/xlDataVal08.html#Font using a control from the
control toolbox and some event programming (double-click event).

The main point is if a URL is pasted in response to a question, in my
opinion, one doesn't expect to go there and see NO.
