I saw your post on 11/25/04 in which you got the error " the object invoked
has disconnected from its clients", when trying to use a macro to write code in another workbook. I have the same problem. Single stepping, I found that the error occurs at .InsertLines Startline. I saw where you didn't get a response to your question. If you ever found out what the problem was, I would love to know answer. Thanks, Jim |

Hi Jim,
wow, mine is a really late answer! I had not seen your post. No, I did not get an answer. In my case, the problem occurs when I make VBA write some code into the module of another worksheet, and then come back to the workbook. It looks like VBA can well write the code to the module of the second workbook, but it does not find its own workbook anymore. In fact, I solved the problem by splitting the macro: I have it run until it writes the code to the second workbook, and then I launch a second macro from the original workbook. Sorry I am not able to help further! Kind regards, Valeria "Jim Warren" wrote: I saw your post on 11/25/04 in which you got the error " the object invoked has disconnected from its clients", when trying to use a macro to write code in another workbook.
