Prompt user login when refresh data
Dear all,
I have some Excel files which use Pivot Table to retrieve data. The backend data is stored in SQL server and ODBC (System DSN) is used for connection. I use my own computer to create the files. There is no problem when I refresh data (Data -- Refresh Data) in the Excel files on my own computer. However, when the files are passed to other users (I created the same ODBC system DSN in users' computers) and they refresh the data on their own computers, the Excel files always prompt a login screen of SQL server. But it does not appear in my own computer. Anyone knows how to eliminate the login prompt on users' computers? It is quite distracting to the users.... Thanks in advance. Regards, Terence |
