Hi all.
I'm running WXPProSP2, and Ex03. When I try to show a custom view 2 things happen- 1. I get an exclamation message box with the prompt "Some view settings could not be applied". 2. The custom view I want doesn't show. I have a feeling the Workbook/worksheet protection is somehow involved, but I unprotect everything before I create the view, and also when I try to show the view. Also, the WB has macros from Excel4 that used the views add-in, but I've remmed these out; and the reference for the views.xla is not checked. (This WB has been around for a decade now, and this current project is to bring up to the 21 century) The only workaround I can think of is to code in the view using VBA, but this would be unnecessary, if I could get the views to work. Any ideas are welcomed, and thank you for looking at my posting, Paul |
