I am the youngest of eleven children & would like to have our tree in excel
so we can share/improve tree as we grow. So far we have about 99 in living family members with the inclusion of children & grandchildren. Please assist! |

Kym,
I would suggest you think about buying a proper genealogy program for this purpose. The best I have been able to locate is called "The Master Genealogist". It was recently released in version 6. Excel is not really designed to hold this kind of data and I think you will find that in time you will want to add additional bits of information (such as birthdays, anniversaries, etc.) and you will quickly out grow Excel's capabilities for such a project. Maybe someone else will post another suggestion. I hope this helps you out. I'd suggest exactly the same thing. You can get some genealogy programs at
very cheap prices, and they will likely do the job far far better than Excel. -- Regards Ken.......................
