I have posted the following in microsoft.excel but no reply.. hence
posting in excel.programming.. Can Anybody help please TIA Rashid Khan ...Following posted in microsoft.excel Hello All, I am using Office 2003 and have the following problem: I have 2 different worksheets: Master.xls and Report.xls Master.xls first two sheets are Named as Main and Codes plus* many sheets generated by a macro (not necessarily all) by sheet n*ames viz. UNM, UNXL, HEH etc. etc. Report.xls is as follows: -- A B C D 1 CODE ITEM STOCK ISSUED 2 UNM UNIFORM MEDIUM 10 3 UNXL UNIFORM XL 12 4 UNXXL UNIFORM XXL 12 ... UN2XX UNIFORM 2XX 23 ... UNXXX UNIFORM XXX 22 .... HEH HELMET HALF 10 ... HEF HELMET FULL 12 ... SH40 SHOES 40 34 ... SH41 SHOES 41 12 ... SH42 SHOES 42 11 ... SH43 SHOES 43 11 ... SH44 SHOES 44 11 ... MA MASK 12 ... SC SAFETY CLOTH 21 ... LG LARGE GLOVES 22 ... SG SMALL GLOVES 24 ... GL SAFETY GLASSES 24 I wish to extract the value (Cell E3) from all the existing *sheets in Master.xls (except Main Sheet and Codes Sheet) and paste it *in the corresponding place in Report.xls. Eg value of Cell E3 of UNM sheet of Master.xls should get pa*sted in D2 of Report.xls, value from Cell E3 of UNXXL will get pasted i*n D4 and so on and so forth.. I cannot use link from Master.xls as the number of Sheets in* Master.xls differs each time. Only Main and Codes sheets are constant *in Master.xls. I hope I am clear..
