Copy & Paste formulas
I have created a page of formulas and I would like to copy and paste them to
another spreadsheet, when I do this the location changes. ex(c3:c8 changes to c23:34) How do I prevent this from happening. Also in the formula I have a month, can I change this month before I paste to a new month without going to each formula and change it manually. |

Copy & Paste formulas
I should have been more clear, I have a list of about 30+ formulas that I
would like to copy and past at the same time. "Chip" wrote: where it says c3....click F4 on your keyboard...try copy/pasting again |

Copy & Paste formulas
Maybe I am not understanding... or being clear...if you hit F4, it
changes a reference from "C3" to "$C$3" turning it into a relative reference...for future knowledge that means it wont have that issue of when you move the formula the referenced cells will change...and can you use find/replace for changing the months.... If I am still not getting it...try pasting a formula...and show me the prob that way |
