I am trying to apply conditional formatting with VBA to cells that already
contain a formula. Basically, if the conditional evaluated was true, a 1 is put in the cell. Now I want to apply conditional formatting to highlight all the cells with a 1 to make them stand out more. I've been able to apply the formatting but it is not reading the cell value as one, assumably because it contains a formula. If I type over the formula and place a 1 in a cell, the cell immediately highlights. Is there a way to do this with an existing formula? I know one can use a formula with a conditional formatting, but I've had so much trouble getting this formula right, I don't want to insert it this way. |
