I am trying to do an find and replace on the * character. The problem is that

You can use ~* in the find / replace dialog to replace asterisks. I've
included a macro that does the same.


Sub replaceasterisks

Cells.Replace What:="~*", Replacement:=InputBox("Replace Asterisks
with:"), LookAt:=xlPart, SearchOrder _
:=xlByRows, MatchCase:=False, SearchFormat:=False,
ReplaceFormat:=False

End Sub
