Hi, I wrote a macro which uses Solver.xla. Now this program is designed to be
used by a number of users. It happens so that by default solver.xla is not in the addins folder. It is not even in the library folder too (in most computers) from my experience. One may need Office CD to install Solver!! I am currently writing code in the macro to install solver by itself, but if the solver.xla file is unavailable in any folder then there is no way that solver can be installed. How can I solve this problem?? any help will be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Radhakrishna Graduate Student Purdue University West Lafayette, IN 47906 USA |
