Default Copy & Paste Drop Down Box with Macros

I have 4 separate spreadsheets which I need to merge
into one. The spreadsheets each contain a column
with drop-down boxes containing macros. Each time I
copy and paste the information from the 4 workbooks
into a new one, I close the original workbooks and
the drop-down boxes in the workbook I pasted them
into are now blank. (The drop-down box is also
linked to another worksheet within the original
workbook) Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? If
you are able to assist in any way I would greatly
appreciate it.
