Hi
(do this on a copy of your work and save the macro in the personal macro workbook so it doesn't disappear when you close the file) choose tools / macro / record new macro click in your list choose data / filter / autofilter click on the drop down arrow of the column you're interested in choose custom choose equals and then the first criteria choose OR choose equals and then the other criteria you want click OK only records meeting either of these criteria should now be displayed choose edit / goto / special - visible cells only choose edit / delete choose tools / macro / stop recording choose tools / macro / macros ... click on the macro and choose edit hope this helps Cheers JulieD "DKY" wrote in message ... using CUSTOM to choose both criteria - make sure you populate all four boxes and choose OR as the comparison operator) and see the code which is generated I need a translator!! LOL I can record a macro, but then I get lost at that part. Then again, how would I record a macro doing anything but deleting a row? -- DKY ------------------------------------------------------------------------ DKY's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=14515 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=275631 |
