Default document not saved

I am in excel. I opened a document through VPN from our network (I am at
home). I made many changes to the spreadsheet and now I have tried to save
it three ways.

1. Save it back to our network
2, Save it to my local hardrive
3. Save it to a removable disk

I also tried to do a save as and selected "create a backup"

I can not get the document to save. I keep getting an error message
"document not saved"

Help!

Ann

Hi,

Imagining some desparation in what you wrote:

Help!

I feel almost ashamed to suggest this: Have you confirmed that the file
really wasn't saved? I've had the same problem last year, when my
computer insisted it had NOT saved my Excel file on a remote location.
Exploring the folder it was there - updated and all - anyway!
Hope you're lucky!
