This problem was fixed by the Oct 12 Security update, available at Office
Update, after which the Excel version will be 10.6713.6714. -- Jim Rech Excel MVP "Sam Tai" wrote in message ... | Try this: | 1. Open Excel | 2. Drop a Text Box control from the Control Toolbox | toolbar on to the sheet (near the middle of the window). | 3. Print Preview, and close to return to the worksheet. | 4. The Text Box control shifts to the left! | | 5. Now try it again, but this time drop a Text Box control | from the Drawing toolbar. The Text Box control does not | shift to the left. | | This behavior is only observed on SP3. This defect is not | found in 2002 (no service pack), 2002 SP2, and 2003 SP1. |
