Default Excel file with macro not visible

Need help: I have an excel file that contains macros. Sometimes when
I open the file, it opens but is not visible. It is not hidden or
minimized. The excel window shows the name of file on top left cornor
and also in windows drop down menu with a check mark indicating that
file is open or selected.
Can anybody help?
