I have a formula on my website: Hours affected by dates.
It'll handle dates spanning midnight. -- Rob van Gelder - http://www.vangelder.co.nz/excel "bong" wrote in message ... Dear all, I have asked some people to achieve my case which is specify in below file. However, the overnight shift problem cannot be solved. See shift C1, as it start at 19:30 and need pass through 00:00 which will increase the value from 0 again. Consider a period 00:00-00:15, the shift cover this period, it however turn out is 0 which you can see in my file. Any loop can help to do this?
