![]() I wrote something about this last night. it was not a very good exampl of what I needed. It was a very long night when I posted it. I was a the Hospital the entire night before and had just gotten home. havein said that this is what I need. A macro that finds the data in column A in Book1 and seaches for it i column A in Book2. Retrieves the desciption from colmun B in book tw and copys it to column B in book1 and then repeats this until i reaches the last cell of column A in Book1 which has a value o "DATA_END". Just in case of any confusion I will include a sample of Book1 and and a book of what i need it to look like when finished +------------------------------------------------------------------- |Filename: Finished example.txt |Download: http://www.excelforum.com/attachment.php?postid=2689 +------------------------------------------------------------------- -- drew ----------------------------------------------------------------------- drewd's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...fo&userid=1474 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread.php?threadid=26572 |
