Default storing / appyling pivot chart formatting

Hi All,

I think i could do this myself, but before i start, I feel someone else
must've done this already: -

when making changes to pivot tables / charts, any applied formatting is
lost. if there is not an inbuilt function into Exce (that i don't know
about), has anyone developed some VB to store applied formatting to whatever
series and chart components exist, so that when updates are made (which are
inevtiable for me!) you can easily re-assign the formatting?

Thanks for any help,

Tim
