Hi Jack,
Does anyone know of MS plans to supercede VBA with C# or .net stuff? No. VBA will be around for a long time to come. If you're looking for a precedent, Excel 2003 still supports the XLM macro language, which was the primary programming language of Excel 4, some 10 years ago. That said, the Visual Studio Tools for Office product is trying to carve a niche for itself as an alternative to VBA. Regards Stephen Bullen Microsoft MVP - Excel www.BMSLtd.ie |

Asked question in context of continuing to learn VBA or spending learning
time on 'new' technology. Rather learn Java and/or C# trying to become more proficient at VBA However, if VBA is the tool for Excel, I guess I must stay on learning curve. Thanks for your response.
