Default ServicePack 2 and Office 2000 - Deleting OWC

I programmed a big EXCEL-Application for an important Worlwide-acting
Customer by using the OWC. After the customer had installed the ServicePack
2, the application didn't work any more. I realized that this Service Pack
de-installed the complete OWC. Now I and my customer have a great problem -
How can we reinstall the OWC without getting problems with the
security-problems of OWC (it is not a Web-based application)? Is it possible
to reinstall the OWC and if it is so, how can i do this?

Hi Dick,
Further info would help in answering your question. I work
synchronously with xl9 and xl10, both with the latest SP's
so I have seen this before. Is your app an addin? What is
OWC? Are the files missing or, if it's an addin, did
Addins Manager 'lose' it?
Regards, GS

I think he is talking about SP2 for Windows XP. OWC are the office web
components, first distributed with xl2000.

It is possible there is a license issue here. If the client doesn't
own/have Excel installed as an example.
