Default Only allow certain users access to specific sheets within a workbo

You can hide the sheets, then password protect the workbook, protecting at
least the structure.

Such protection is easily broken, but should keep all but the most
determined users from subverting your efforts.

I am trying to set a workbook up so that I can link to a specific sheet
within a workbook and I do not want the users who use these links to be

able
to go to any of the other sheets. Is this possible? If so, how? We are
currently using Excel 2002. Thanks!

Hard to say, but if you have different divisions having a sheet in a single
workbook and you want to let them only see their own information, then I
would say no, because there is only one password for the workbook.

Will this work if different people need to access different sheets? Like,
Each division (Their files are stored in a separate folder for each

division)
has a link to their specific sheet within the main workbook and we don't

want
them to access any other divisions sheets? Thank you!

Thank you much! That is what I thought too, but I was making sure. I am
trying to get the user to go to Access, but she doesn't want to. I don't
know why people are afraid to use something that will make their lives
easier! Thanks again!
