Default Error while downloading Excel File with macros.

Requirement: user need to submit data. since the amount
of data submitted is more and dont have time to enter the
data online, the user take the process of enter data
offline and then sink with the database.

Tool's Used : ASP.NET, SQL Server and Excel.

The application is web based intranet application
developed in ASP.NET. The user download the excel file
from the webserver through the ASP.NET application.
Before downloading, the user downloading the information
will be written into the excel file through the ASP.NET
application and the user downloads the file.

The file consists of macros to communicate with the .NET
webservice. the user enters all the data into the excel
file in the space provided offline. Bring the file into
the network and sync with the database through the
webservice.

problem:

1. it throws an error, when the user try to download the
excel file with macros.
2. once the Excel file is opened in the IE and even after
i close the excel file, the process remains in the
windows tasks.

have anyone faced this problem before, can help me???
