Default Excel "Work"menu option

Word has a facility to add a menu item called "Work" which is one of the
built-in (but not added as a default) menu options. This is NOT available
in Excel but has anyone attempted to simulate it using VBA?

Default Excel "Work"menu option

One of the Excel MVPs has been working on an equivalent but I don't believe
it has been released yet.
