Default adding XML element using Excel 2003

Is it possible to add XML element using Excel 2003?
ie, open a XML file using Excel 2003, view it as XML task
pane or XML list, and add a new element and save it back
as an XML?

Hi,

Yes, you can open an XML data file, work with the XML source task pane,
import XML data into an existing mapping and also append XML data.
Look he [Editing XML Data in Microsoft Office Excel 2003]
http://msdn.microsoft.com/office/und...fficeexcel2003

Hope this helps.

thanks
I am not so familiar with XML, not sure if the URL
referred can solve what I want

for example,
i have a XML file consists of following schema
<ID
<Name
<Age
<Height

and if i open the file using XML (view via task pane), can
I add anoher element VIA EXCEL so that the saved XML file
now becomes

<ID
<Name
<Age
<Height
<Weight <--- new element

I did something similar using an xml tool kit but not sure if you can add new element as in your example.
