changing format
I have a large spreadsheet listing details of telephone calls and their
details. It goes: Caller : Number : Date : Duration The Duration column is text, and is in minutes.seconds, ie 90 seconds is 1.30. How can I set up a way of converting all these cells to just plain seconds format? I have entered in phone calls as they appear on the bills, and now I want to do some meaningful statistical work on the data and discovered I did things stupidly. I have many hundreds of cells so a way of setting up a formula or filter to do it automatically would be what I want. I have no idea how to do this! Can anyone help? Many thanks! |
