Default Floating Total row

Not sure if you mean you want to place the total row each time, or if you
want the total row to move down and still work as you insert rows.

If you want the total row to move down then see my page
http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/insrtrow.htm
and pay attention to the requirement to use OFFSET.
