Undo row insert from macro

I have a macro that inserts rows and enters some default
data. When I do that, the undo menu in excel is grayed
out. I want to give the user the option to undo the
entry. When from a user defined menu. I tried
Application.undo but that got an error message.

Is what I want possible?
