Default How to hide a Range of Columns?

I am having difficulty hiding a range of columns
2007 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012
Data Data Data Data Data Data
Data Data Data Data Data Data
Data Data Data Data Data Data
Data Data Data Data Data Data

I would like a text a box to put up where you can say 2008-2010 and i
will hide the 2007, 2011, and 2012 columns and thus only showin
2008-2010.

Can anyone provide some code to do this?

thank
