Default Communicate with Internet Explorer from Excel

Hi,
Web programmers will know that a session attribute is generate
everytime the browser connects to a webpage.

I would like to write a macro that would retrieve information like th
session id and cookie information everytime my excel file is opene
from the web.

This should hopefully be embedded in my excel file itself.

I am currently using Excel 2000 to do this . Is this possible? Thank
for your time
