Solver 32.dll
Hi everybody
I am looking for some help. I have created a macro for running solver. It worked for a while, but now I have the following message. Solver 32.dll is not available. You could define and edit the model but you will not be able to solve it. For fixing this go back and execute Excel for reinsetalling the Solver. If I first of all open a new file, set up a model and run Solver, and then open my file and run the solver, it works!! Whay not when I do it for the first time? Any help would be appreciated, write to my email if you prefer. Regards Velero |

Solver 32.dll
sounds like you need to create a reference to solver in the VBE using
Tools=References. http://support.microsoft.com/support...ver/solver.asp Creating Visual Basic Macros that Use Microsoft Excel Solver -- Regards, Tom Ogilvy "velero" wrote in message ... Tom you are right, but how I can
Once you create the reference, it should remain until you remove it.

If another user opens the file, would work for him also, or does he have to activate the reference? The reference is stored with the file. If the solver.xla is located in a
different location on another machine then it would break the reference. -- Regards, Tom Ogilvy wrote in message ... tom If another user opens the file, would work for him also, or does he have to activate the reference?
