Here's one that has me stumped. I have an Access
application that is linked to numerous Excel source files out on our company network. The app is used by 80+ users (each has his own copy of the "front end" Access file). When one user launches a query that uses a particular Excel file, no other user can run the same query until the first guy is done. Setting the source files to Shared does NOT fix the problem. Anybody have any ideas on how I can solve this dilemma? (I'm also going to post this on the Access Newsgroup.) |
