Default Losing data when converting

My problem is my office has some old chronologies in Microsoft Work
(Spreadsheet). When I file/save as/.xls, some of the larger cells giv
me 2/3 of the words, etc. and gives me the rest like this:
ٱٱٱٱٱ.

Can someone help me with why this is doing this, and maybe how to ge
around it
