Problems while displaying Date
Hi,
I am getting a strange problem. I have tried several ways but finally left it. I have got a sheet where one of the cells has a date value displayed in the cell as Jan-04. When the cell is clicked the value that is shown on the top in the formula bar is 04/01/2004. But when I am writing the value of this cell to a cell in another sheet the value is beinmg shown as 01/04/2004. How can I resolve this? Thanks in advance. |

Problems while displaying Date
right click on the cell goto formate cells.
Click on the number tab then click on date in the left handed box and select the stly you wish the date to be shown as. You can also click custom and type the way you want the date, because excel only really does american dates. so for the uk it would be dd/mm/yyyy --- Message posted from http://www.ExcelForum.com/ |
