Hi Kevin,
You can have an alternative to hyperlinks, but since you appear not to know that you can have hyperlinks (Excel 97 and up) why not use a hyperlink. See Build Table of Contents http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/buildtoc.htm and if you use hyperlinks you can use the BACK and FORWARD buttons (alt+ArrowLeft and alt+ArrowRight) or toolbar buttons. As far as alternatives you can have a macro that takes the name in the active cell and goes to that sheet. Perhaps the easiest of those alternatives is a double-click event macro http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel....htm#gotosheet --- HTH, David McRitchie, Microsoft MVP - Excel [site changed Nov. 2001] My Excel Pages: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/excel.htm Search Page: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/search.htm "kevin" wrote in message ... I have a workbook with 30 plus tabs. is there a way to have a table of contents with each tab name where the user can click on a name and be taken to the sheet. |
