Default VSTO Excel Addin

Hi

Is it possible to create an Excel 2003 Addin using Visual Studio Tools For Office
It looks like it should be possible by saving the VSTO workbook as a .xla but has anyone got any experiece of doing this

I want to be able to write functions (for use in cells) and provide a set of forms for retrieving data from SQL (as an array)

Thanks for any help you can give
JK
