I would like to have a program that would winzip all the
files in a folder (but leave the original as well). Does
anyone have some basic code to get me started?

Thank you.

Are you using XP? If so, you can select all the files you want to zip and
right click. Got to "Send to...Compressed Zip Folder" and all the files will
be put in a zip file and the originals will remain.
