Default making the worksheet menu bar not visible

hi

because i have provided all relevant functions for my excel files as
button macro's i have therefore set all command bars as visible = false
in an "Open" macro

is it possible to also make the worksheet menu bar not visisble upon
opening a file - essentially making the Excel screen appear white except
for the application bar at the top and the open applications windows at
the bottom of the screen

also how would i make it visible again as part of the Before Close
macro?

thanks

matt
