Error: The procedure number is out of range
Hello
I have a VBA Excel application with automation. I am running Office XP under Windows XP. I used am trying to print a Word object document linked to Excel via automation. On my desktop it works fine when I try to print, but when I try to print it on a notebook with similar setup I get the following error Automation erro The procedure number is out of range The only reference I could find on the MSDN library or the Knowledge BAse was a reference as follows User action: Contact the supplier of the running distributed application. There is a version control problem in the application that can only be fixed by the application supplier (procedures were added to an .idl file without changing the version number). Of course I am the developer, but I'm not familiar with .idl files. If this error message is applicable then it seems to be a problem with the version of some component or element. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be or how to determine it particularly since it works on same configuration on another machine Thanks, God bless Van |
