Default Command bar Defaults

I've used this code to hide toolbars and command bars
Sub hide(
Dim bar As CommandBa
For Each bar In Application.CommandBar
bar.Enabled = Fals
Nex
End Su

Sub show(
Dim bar As CommandBa
For Each bar In Application.CommandBar
bar.Enabled = Tru
Nex
End Su

Problem is when I restart excel now it defaults to the hidden status

Thanks for any ideas.
