Default How to change number formatting

Hi skrout

Select all cells first

You can use this line in a macro

Selection.NumberFormat = "000-00-0000"

I have a spreadsheet that for Social Security #'s format requested was for 000000000; now I have been asked to change to

reflect the formatting of 000-00-0000. Is there a formula that I can use that change the formatting without having to retype
over 1000 SS#'s.
