Default Question about inserting data into a PDF

I have a PDF file with editable fields.

I have Excel 97 up to XP.

I want to take values out of a spreadsheet and populate the already
create PDF. I do not need to save the newly created PDF, just
populate the fields. I can print from Acrobat.

I am familiary with VBA, VB, other languages ad infinitum.

Thanks for any guidance.
