Default Macro to quit excel and go back to original application

Help help
I have a macro that is invisible, but allow the user to
see a status bar. This macro is linked from a web page.
That is, user click on the update button from the web
page, and the auto_open function will run the marco. The
process is invisible, however, gives user a progress
panel. Once the macro has completed, it shows excel at the
background excel application and the user will have to
close excel and go back to the web page. I do not want
excel to show once the process has completed. however,
have the user close the progress bar and able to go back
to the web page. Basically, i did not want excel to show
at the background. At the end of the progress panel, user
show see the web page. thanks in advance.
