Freeze panes is a built in Excel capability and doesn't support what you
describe. You could split pane and simulate this behavior. -- Regards, Tom Ogilvy nadirdada wrote in message ... i want to "freeze panes" in excel; but i want the frozen pane to be the bottom part and i want the top part to scroll.
