Default Cell formats

Is it possible to format a cell based on another cell's format on a different sheet. Example - if the text in cell A1 is bold on one sheet, can cell A1 be automatically be made bold as well?

Hi smbjax,
Why don't you copy and paste format only with PasteSpecial ?

Sub Test()
PasteFormat Sheets("Sheet2").Range("A1"), Sheets("Sheet1").Range("A1")
End Sub

Sub PasteFormat(ByVal rngFrom As Range, ByVal rngPaste As Range)
rngFrom.Copy: rngPaste.PasteSpecial Paste:=xlFormats
Application.CutCopyMode = False
End Sub
