Can I compile and run a Visual Basic 6 program from Office XP?
It seems that a VB exists in Office... I was planning on buying VB6, but I am no longer certain that this is necesary. I have a VB6 program that I need to compile and run, and am looking for any info that is available. Thank you for your time. Michael |

Michael,
Can I compile and run a Visual Basic 6 program from Office XP? No, you can't compile a VB6 program in Office. It seems that a VB exists in Office... Office applications contain Visual Basic For Applications (VBA), which is similar to VB, but can't compile in to executable files. -- Cordially, Chip Pearson Microsoft MVP - Excel Pearson Software Consulting, LLC www.cpearson.com "Michael" wrote in message ...
