Page Tabs
My Excel 2000 spreadsheet pages all have a small
identification block that gives the authors name, date, file name and page name. Is there any way to transfer this page name to the page tab? Also, Quattro Pro lets one color the page tabs. Is this possible with Excel? |

Page Tabs
You can color the worksheet tabs in xl2002 and higher.
I'm not sure what you mean by the first question. If you mean can you put all that info on the worksheet tab, then the answer is that it has to fit in 31 characters. If you mean you want a tooltip like effect, then it's not built into excel. (Maybe some windows API functions could do it, but it's way beyond me.)
