Hi all,
I'm new at this, so I'm appologising in advance if this is a dumb question. I have a generic report spreadsheet connected to a table in an access database. The spreadsheet updates through an MS Query on opening. What I need to do is enable the user to save a version of the spreadsheet without a link to the database, and at the same time preserve the link in the generic report. Thanks in advance. Jenni |

You want to do this using a macro? (which is about the only way I could
see doing it unless you want the user to do a copy and pastespecial on the copy worksheet). -- Regards, Tom Ogilvy "Jenni" wrote in message m... Yes, I not only want to do this, I need to do this. A copy and paste
special does not break the link to the database, a cut and paste special is not an option. Any suggestions, what do I put in the macro? Thanks, Jenni "Tom Ogilvy" wrote in message ...
