I need help in getting the excel program to work. The
company downloaded the Second Edition Windows 98 to update the Windows 95 that was previously on the system. The only problem is when this happened no one got the excel program to work. We are in current need for the excel program to work. So I would like to know if anyone could help bring the program out of the BDE Administrator or the ODBC Data Sources where it is currently residing so that I am able to use it. Please help as soon as possible. In desperate need of this program. |

Not sure why the update should have screwed it up, but have you tried
uninstalling and reinstalling?? Detect and Repair is also an option on some versions. -- Regards Ken....................... Installing Windows 98 SE to update Windows 95 should not affect Excel.
If it isn't working, then you need to reinstall Excel. One think you could try first is to go to Windows=run in the box put in Excel.Exe /unregserver then click OK. then do it again only enter Excel.Exe /regserver You might have to use the full path to Excel. -- Regards, Tom Ogilvy "Lorie" wrote in message ...
