According to this Microsoft webpage:
http://www.microsoft.com/catalog/dis...1173&x=43&y=12 the academic version is the "full version". However, it is legal only for teachers and students only. I second Guillett's recommendation to try eBay. You won't be able to get it as quickly, but you can save a lot of money, especially if you get an older version. A couple more distinctions: 1. Office Standard - lacks MS Access. Office Professional - includes MS Access 2. Upgrade - must have older version of software on your computer, else it won't install.
